Join us for a virtual information session to learn more about Brandeis Online’s Master’s in Bioinformatics and the admissions process. Designed for prospective graduate students, this session will provide an overview of the program, curriculum, and application requirements.
During the webinar, you’ll explore how bioinformatics is transforming human health by turning big data into groundbreaking discoveries—from advancing cancer treatments and accelerating vaccine development to enabling personalized medicine. We’ll highlight how the program prepares students to collect, analyze, and interpret large-scale biological data; work with genetic sequencing information; and extract insights using Python, R, and advanced computational, statistical, and mathematical methods.
You’ll also learn what sets the program apart, including small, online classes of 10 or fewer students and personalized instruction from practicing scientists and researchers. The session will conclude with a live Q&A, giving you the opportunity to ask questions of the Program Chair and connect directly with the admissions team.
